Summer Camps

Our camps shave a theme for the week which are a combination of teacher led art instruction, and choice time, as well as free art play. We also read books, talk about art, go for walks, and have our lunch outside. Our camps are limited to 8 students per week.

Drawing and Painting the Maine Landscape, ages 9 and up

Dates - July 16th - July 18th (3 classes)

Time - 9:00 - 2:30

Days - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Location - 50 Main Street Blue Hill

Description - Three days of drawing and painting the Maine Landscape - during this session we will spend our mornings outside where students will explore the local surroundings of Blue Hill on foot such as beaches and trails, and paint the landscape around them. In the afternoon we will have focused studio art time to continue our work and have choice art time. Discussion of artists and artwork. All materials included.

Tuition (3 classes 9:00-2:30) $325

What to bring - backpack with lunch, snack, water bottle, good walking shoes, sunscreen, bug spray and hat.

Nature Arts, ages 5-9

Dates - July 23rd, 24th, 25th

Time - 9:00-2:30

Day- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Location - 50 Main Street Blue Hill

Description - Three days of nature themed art and craft. We will go on daily walks to gather nature elements such as flowers, leaves, sticks, and rocks, and combine them with a variety of art materials to create create paintings, collages, weavings, and sculptures. All materials included.
