Summer Camps

Our camps have a theme for each week which are a combination of teacher led art instruction, choice time, as well as free art play. We also read books, talk about art, go for walks, and have our lunch outside. Our camps are limited to 8 students per week.

July 22nd, 23rd, 24th- Painting and Fiber Arts, Ages 9-15

Location - 50 Main Street Blue Hill

Description - Three days of art inspired by movement and STEAM topics.

Students will have a sketchbook to work in each day. We will explore elliptical paths as we create pendulums, play with movement as we create toy merry go round sculptures, and investigate buoyancy as we create whimsical boats. We will go on daily walks and eat our lunch at the park. All art materials included.

Tuition (3 classes 9:00-2:30) $375

Nature Arts, Ages 5-9

Dates - July 15th, 16th, 17th (3 classes)

Time - 9:00 - 2:30

Days - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Location - 50 Main Street Blue Hill

Description - Three days of art inspired by nature.

During this session students will have nature sketchbooks to work in daily. We will go on daily hikes to gain inspiration and gather natural elements and combine them with a variety of art materials to create sculptures, cyanotypes, plant boxes, and more. We will eat our lunch at the park. All art materials included.

Painting and Fiber Arts, Ages 9-15

Dates - July 22nd, 23rd, 24th (3 classes)

Time - 9:00 - 2:30

Days - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Location - 50 Main Street Blue Hill

Description - Three days of mixed media -painting, drawing, and fibers.

During this session we will spend our mornings outside where students will explore the local surroundings of Blue Hill on foot such as beaches and trails, and paint the small details within. In the afternoon we will have focused studio art time to continue our work and to then use fibers to sew into our paintings. We will create a variety of mixed media wall hangings, patches, and small pillows.
